KTBS weather woman Rhonda Lee discusses her termination on The Madison Show.
SiriusXM Talk Show host, Joe Madison, spoke with Rhonda Lee, the Louisiana weather woman who was fired for responding to an email complaint about her hair, this morning. Ms. Lee called in share her side of the story regarding the course of events that led up to her termination. According to Lee, she was fired for breaking an unwritten rule that forbids employees from responding directly to complaints, a rule that she was not aware of and goes against what she had been told prior to this incident. Madison, who broke the story yesterday, contends that Lee’s firing is a classic example of racism and cultural conditioning.
Dr. Artis Cash, pastor and founder of the Shreveport chapter of the National Action Network, who was also on the call, has requested that the General Manager of KTBS-TV reconsider her termination. Ms. Lee moved to Shreveport from Austin, Texas and is looking forward to returning to the airwaves at KTBS soon. When asked why she would want to continue to work for the station, she replied “I don’t believe in running away from anywhere, anytime. “

Madison calls on Pres. Obama to Relieve the Suffering of Children

SiriusXM Talk Show Host, Joe Madison called upon President Obama to create a plan that would relieve the suffering of millions of young people in America. On his show this morning, Madison shared statistics from an Op-Ed piece written by Marian Wright Edelman, the President of The Children’s Defense Fund, after which he warned, “the very foundation of this nation will deteriorate, if something’s not done”
Madison went on to say, “Mr President, if you want to be the transformation president you say you want to be, then transform these numbers!”

SiriusXM’s Joe Madison spoke to Dr. Christian Head of UCLA this morning about being black-balled after bringing a discrimination suit against the University.
Dr. Christian Head and his attorney, Shannon Foley, claim he is the victim of persistent harassment and retaliation after filing a report indicating he was being discriminated against throughout his career at the university. The most notable incident involved the release of a photo in which Dr. Head’s face was superimposed on the head of a gorilla being sodomized by his supervisor.
Dr. Head alleges that administrators told vendors were told not to do business with him, doctors were instructed not to perform surgery with him and his pay and benefits were reduced. Dr. Head and his attorney are calling on California Governor, Jerry Brown to intervene.

This morning during his show, SiriusXM Satellite Radio talk show host Joe Madison, railed against Arizona radio host Barbara Espinosa for her disrespectful name calling of President Barak Obama. Madison challenged his audience to call the station to complain. Hours later, the voice mail boxes of the President and Program Director were full and the lines jammed.

This morning on his national satellite radio show, Joe Madison announced that he discovered audio of George Zimmerman referring to Trayvon Martin as a “f**cking coon” under his breath moments before he shot the teenager to death.
“A listener reached out to me yesterday asking that I listen to the tape carefully. This morning when we got in, I had our engineer clean up the tape and sure enough, there it was”, said Madison.

He will join MSNBC host, Al Sharpton and radio DJ Micheal Baisden as the keynote speaker, at an evening rally in support of Trayvon Martin's family The Rally will air live on The Joe Madison Show Thursday March 22nd on SiriusXM 128 at 7 p.m. EDT. The program will air again on Friday at 6 a.m. EDT.
